A wow weather pattern is gifting the Paciffic Northwest Coast with a late summer burst...supposed to be 27C today and up to 30C tomorrow. I'm in!
We don't experience what I call "real Winter" in this thin strip of coastal beauty. Our winter is really like a long late Fall or a very early Spring, depending on your point of view. It doesn't rain as much as everyone thinks, either, but it can be high cloud and a general "grey", between November and February.
A soft climate, for sure, and in the Islands, whether the San Juans or the Canadian Gulf Islands, the microclimate does deliver more sunshine than experienced on the Mainland, in either Vancouver or Seattle.
